Questions and Answers about who we are

Q: Who the hell even ARE you? A: We’re just a small website trying to make our way through this big scary world. We're a group of like-minded yet very different people trying to address a lot of issues facing the UK and wider world, from a position of truth, science, common sense and basic human decency. There seems to be a lack of that these days. We've come from different backgrounds, experiences, geographies and more. Q: Why are you called The State Media, are you owned by the government? A: No, we're not. We're called 'The State' because we want to take a look at the state of the world in which we live. Think 'look at the state of him over there', rather than 'Chinese state media says...' Q: Who funds you? Probably the Christian Right or George Soros or someone I...

The State of Reddit

We’re here today to talk about Reddit, specifically their decision to ban the Gendercritical subreddit from their website. https://youtu.be/O2uFXcW31BQ This subreddit was a forum made up of 65,000 subscribers, the vast majority of whom were women wanting to discuss feminist issues that affected them as women. Reddit has made this decision as part of a content policy change, which they followed with a strangely titled ‘Remember The Human’ announcement. This announcement states that they wanted to ‘close the gap between their values and their policies to explicitly address hate’, and came up with two new Rules for the site. Rule 1 states that anyone who promotes hate based on identity or vulnerability will be banned Rule 2 states that community rules should be abided...

Graham Linehan banned from Twitter following concerted campaign to silence his views

Graham Linehan has been permanently banned from Twitter following a concerted effort by gender activists to mass report his account. The award-winning comedy writer and pro-women's rights campaigner was the subject of a long-running campaign to silence his views on gender ideology, and the loss of women-only spaces. Twitter opted to take permanent action after mass-reporting continued, bowing down to the gender activists. A spokesperson for Twitter said: “The account has been permanently suspended.” Abusive trans activists celebrate Linehan’s suspension with vile insults In recent years Linehan has become one of the loudest voices defending the rights of women and children, supported by hundreds of thousands of followers. His time on Twitter was characterised by freque...
